Today's HyStar sharing her thoughts about the hydrogen industry and upcoming festivities is Lab Engineer Ingrid Johanne Bruarøy!

What has been the highlight of your year in 2022?

Several events! But I would like to highlight my engagement (it was mesmerizing!), all the travelling abroad I got to take (experience other cultures), and of course starting in Hystar (I love it! The team is so inspiring and is fun to work with like-minded people)

What are you hoping to get for Christmas?

I do not really have something special on my wish list. Maybe an early Christmas gift from mother Earth, SNOW! So that I can go cross-country skiing.

What’s in store for the hydrogen industry over the next few years?

I would say that hydrogen has a bright future ahead, and within a few years it will be a leading source for both energy and fuel. And with the development we see of new breaking technologies we are not far from making that statement true.

Any New Year’s resolutions you’ll be making that you could tell us about?

I like to reflect on what went good/bad this year, what to continue with and what to let go. I really don’t like to set goals, more of an improvement point. There’s always room for improvement! For instance, reading more books is something I can get better at. If it would be only sci-fi/made up stories… but I will try to aim for life and health, technology, and history books.

What are you most looking forward to in 2023?

I look forward to a new year of experience and opportunity, and to grow to the person I want to be. Business point of view, Hystar has a lot to look forward to and it’s exciting to be a part of that!
