What has been the highlight of your year in 2022?

In 2022 there has been a lot of highlights for me – welcoming each of the new employees to Hystar and seeing the company grow into the ambitious and innovative new electrolyser provider we are today has been exciting, and I am looking forward to the continuation in 2023.   

What are you hoping to get for Christmas?

I must make a confession. Since I will not be able to celebrate Christmas with my whole family, we have already opened most of the presents, so I know what I will get, and it was just what I hoped for. 

What’s in store for the hydrogen industry over the next few years?

Given the need for the accelerated transition to renewable energy in across the whole society, the need for sustainable hydrogen produced by electrolysers is going to increase significantly in the next couple of years. That means a lot of opportunities for the hydrogen industry, but also a lot of hard work. That’s why we at Hystar will continue to recruit smart, passionate employees to help us deliver the world’s most efficient electrolysers to the market.

Any New Year’s resolutions you’ll be making that you could tell us about?

Now that winter has arrived here in Oslo, my New Year’s resolutions is to spend more time in the ski tracks in the forests around the city.  

What are you most looking forward to in 2023?

I am looking forward to meeting all our new employees that will join us the next year. I am also really excited for the delivery of our first MW electrolyser unit at the Kårstø gas processing plant this fall.
