That said, it is, of course, the first of April…
And no, the future shouldn’t be one powered by more oil and gas. There’s a (good!) reason Hystar’s focus is on “technology for a greener future.”
Today being the 1st of April, we wanted to take the opportunity to play an April Fool’s joke.
It just so happens that the 1st of April is known as “Fossil Fools Day,” too. In 2004, coordinated demonstrations by students in Canada and the United States saw April Fools pranks focused on drawing attention to climate change. Since then, various groups have used the day each year to stage “Fossil Fools” events. So consider this ours.
Thankfully, more and more people are recognizing the importance of focusing on the energy transition. And we’re seeing a drastic increase in the focus on hydrogen’s role, too. From the various national hydrogen plans, to the recent communication around REPowerEU, finally – FINALLY – we’re moving in the right direction.
And that’s no joke!
