We develop and manufacture the world’s most efficient PEM electrolysers that use renewable electricity and water to produce hydrogen.
Our technology is built on more than a decade of research at SINTEF and has progressed from advanced materials science to real-world hydrogen production systems.
With over 40,000 hours of testing and operational experience in the field, we are now scaling globally.
Green hydrogen plays a critical role in decarbonising industries that are difficult to electrify directly, such as heavy industry, maritime transport, aviation fuels and fertiliser production.
As demand for clean energy solutions grows, efficient hydrogen production will become increasingly important to achieving global climate goals.
Our technology is designed to help project developers, industrial operators and energy companies produce hydrogen more efficiently and at a lower cost.
Currently, Hystar has an annual production
capacity of 100 MW in our existing facilities.
We are ramping the capacity with our
upcoming 4.5 GW automated factory.
