Fortum is a Finnish project with one of the largest mostly state-owned energy companies Fortum Power and Heat Oy. The hydrogen production pilot plant is located in the Källa area near Fortum’s Loviisa nuclear power plant on a plot owned by the company.

Hystar has supplied PEM electrolyser stacks for a project in Boryeong, South Korea. The stacks will be integrated into Sunbo Unitech’s BOP (Balance of Plant) system, and after final commissioning, the system will be handed over to KOMIPO’s Shin Boryeong power station. The hydrogen will be utilised by the local bus depot for refuelling their buses.

Hystar entered the South Korean market with Techwin and have supplied PEM electrolyser stacks for a green hydrogen project in Miryang, South Korea. The electrolysers will be connected to K-water’s hydroelectric dams to supply clean fuel to the local regions. The hydrogen produced will be supplied to hydrogen refueling stations for buses and passenger cars, supporting the region’s transition to clean energy.

This project is a 5 MW commercial system developed for Polish energy giant, Polenergia. It’s located in Nowa Sarzyna, supplying hydrogen for Polenergia’s H2HubNS project.
